Track your payment promises

Payment promises made by your clients give you a clear overview of future payments, so you can prioritize the reminders of clients whose promises are already overdue.

In your Clearnox tool, you can add and modify payment promises linked to your invoices. You also have access to a payment promise tracking page, which gives you a good overview of upcoming, overdue and even already paid promises.

How to find my clients’ overdue and upcoming payment promises?

From the page Monitor> Promises

It's important to be able to quickly identify your clients’ payment promises. To do this, simply go to the Monitor > Promises page, where you'll find all overdue and upcoming promises.

Use the filters at the top of the page to quickly find a client, an entry or even promises already paid or past their due date.

When doing your debt collection, if you want to start with the clients with the highest amounts or oldest due dates, use the sorting available on the first 4 columns of the table: simply click on a column header to sort.

The "All promises" column summarizes all overdue and upcoming promises for a given entry.

By clicking on an item in this column, you can retrieve the entire payment promise history of the entry in question.

From the account balance

To quickly find your client's payment promises, go to the client page. In the account balance, the "Promises" column displays promises that are expected or late.

If an entry has no payment promises, a "+" is displayed in the "Promises" column to allow you to add them.

What status can a promise have and how to use it?

A payment promise can have one of several statuses:

  •  Late: if the due date has been exceeded.

  •  Expected: if the due date is in the future.

  •  Fulfilled: if the entry has been lettered.

  •  Canceled: if the user has deleted the payment promise.

Payment promise statuses are updated automatically; for example, if an entry is lettered, the promises attached to it automatically change to "Fulfilled" status.

These statuses are very useful, for example, if you wish to give priority to reminding clients with overdue payment promises, you can filter on the "Late" status on the Monitor > Promises page.

Can I send my client a summary of his promises ?

You can send both expected and late promises to your clients thanks to the tag %en_table_promises% that you can easily insert in your reminders.

To add promises table to your template, please go to the Configure > Templates page and add the tag to the templates of your choice. This way, when you send your reminder, your client will also receive a summary of all his expected and late promises .
